my tips:

smithing cooking and fletching - watch a movie
firemaking - rot in... then talk with friends cus its uber boring...
crafting - spin bowstring, gets a profit from crafting for once
herblore - use money... its faster
runecrafting - keep at it, use the abyss... i wrote a miniguide under money making tips
construction - build whats cool not schools....... (bad poet ) u'll have to use alot of money here too

Herb: It may be faster to buy herbs but then you'll lose a lot of money quickly due to the prices of the herbs. A more effective way to get herbs is to farm them if you have the levels. That way its almsot always pure cash and you get 5-18 of the herb that you want. Also always buy the 2nds (second ingrediant) when possible because they're always cheap and hard to get otherwise. Also always make your potions 4 doses cause those costs more.
